Tero Ylisaukko-oja

Tero Ylisaukko-oja is the founder and CEO of MedEngine, a subsidiary of VCLS that specializes in evidence generation, market access, scientific content, and digital engagement.

Tero brings over 25 years of research expertise and more than 15 years of experience in the medical affairs and marketing in pharmaceutical industry. As a recognized leader in the Nordics for Real-World Evidence (RWE), Tero is known for developing innovative solutions that maximize the value of Real-World Data (RWD) for clinical development, treatment optimization, and market access.

Tero holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Helsinki, Finland, and an MSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Oulu, Finland. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles.
